Amazon diverts revenue from its subsidiary AWS ( Amazon Web services) to lower prices of products like books on Amazon.com or avocados at Whole Foods. By doing this Amazon both avoids paying taxes which benefit everyone and slowly erodes away all competition from other retailers. I’m as addicted as anyone to the convenience of shopping on Amazon.com but I'm torn about my tiny contributions to the problem of consolidating too much power to one company. How much can my small part be contributing to the whole?
